Stop Blushing Tips: From My Own Personal Experience

Stop Blushing Tips: From My Own Personal Experience

The tips I am sharing in this article about how to stop blushing are from my own personal experiences. I struggled with chronic facial blushing right though my teenage years until my early twenties when I finally shock it off and gain control, not just over my blushing problem but I gain personal power over my life.

The number one stop blushing tips I can give to you is to constantly ask yourself and answer these two questions: 1. What are you focused on right now? And 2. What could you focus on instead?

I know this may sound simple, however don’t make the mistake of dismissing this powerful technique before at least giving it ago.

Let me explain why asking these questions are so powerful in your quest to stop blushing or to change any part of your life for that matter.

You whatever you focus on, you get in life. If you focus on how hard something is or how painful it is then you will simple get more of it. Don’t take my word for it, try this out on a friend and you will start to see what i mean.

Ask your friend to look around the room they are sitting in for a few seconds and look for all objects that are blue (or any other colour you chose). Now ask your friend to close their eyes and then ask them to tell you all the object in the room that are red (or another colour, different from the one you told them to focus on), now observe how many things they can tell you that are red.

Most likely they will struggle to come up with any, even though there are many objects in teh room that are red. Why is this?

Our minds are extremely powerful and our senses take in a huge amount of data every second. Our subconscious mind the part of you that makes sure your heart keeps beating, your lungs breath without effort and all the other tasks our body do during the day and night is estimated to be able to process millions of bits of information every second, however our conscious mind can only handle a few hundred bits of information per second.

This means that our minds are constantly deleting the information around us that we don’t focus on. Another example of this process inn action is when you buy a new car. If you have ever set your mind on a certain type of car and colour, etc you will notice that they start to show up all over that place as before you didn’t notice as many before. You start seeing the car you have set your mind one more because you have given a command to your subconscious to look out for it.

So how does this relate to your blushing problem, next time you start blushing or feel it coming on, think to yourself “what are you focusing on at the moment?” chances are you are focused on something you don’t want like “I hope no one notices I am blushing” or “This always happens to me, why can’t I stop blushing”.

If you change your focus you will change what you see and get and therefore change the way you react in situations that used to make you blush.

Try this, if you know you are about to enter a potential situation where you would normally blush try focussing on something you are grateful for, it could be as simple as the air you breathe, the warmth of the sun, the food you have to eat, or the awesome time you are about to have meeting someone new.

How To Get Rid Of Redness On Face

Getting Rid Of The Redness On Your Face

Having a red face or redness on your face can be frustrating and very annoying however the great news is that it can be treated. There are many ways you can approach to reduce and even totally clear up the redness on your face and in this article we are going to explore some of those options for you.

The first thing you want to assess is your diet and the times when you are affected the most by a red face. For example do you notice you are going red more often when you have drank caffeinate drinks like coffee, red bull, cola or any other caffeinated drink?

Alcohol is another common cause of reddening of the face, so is hot and spicy food. Make sure you are not eating these kinds of foods, run a small test by not eating these foods for a whole week or so and see if it makes a difference.

It is not advised to get a facial or go to a day spa as quite often this can make the problem worse although there are some dermatological procedures can help reduce the redness on your face. Like Intense Pulsed Light or IPL as well as vascular laser treatments can help and even eliminate broken blood vessels quickly reducing the redness on your face.

There are also many natural remedies you can buy over the counter like anti redness creams that have hydrocortisone. However you should know that these are great for the short term as they offer a temporary solution only.

If you have an extreme case of a red face you may want to consider surgical treatments (like punch grafting and laser resurfacing). However it is advised that you try the other alternatives first before resorting to any surgical or laser treatment.

As always make sure to seek advice from your doctor before taking any medications, or following though with any surgical or laser treatments.

My Story How I Stopped Blushing

My Story Of How I Stopped Excessive Blushing

In this article you will learn some of the tipping points that allowed me to stop blushing, I hope they help you too.

As far back as my early teenage years up until my early twenties I struggled with blushing. When i was asked to talk in front of the class, telling a joke to my friends, or meeting new people I would blush. I really felt like my life was at whits end with no hope insight.

If you are looking for ways to stop blushing then I hope what I about to share with you will help you in your quest. The first thing I want to say is that if you are experiencing problems overcoming social anxiety, blushing or looking to build your self confidence then I want to say get happy because there are loads of methods around and it is truly possible to live without the worry of thinking you are going to blushing in front of everyone.

The number one piece of advice I can give you is that the problems you have with blushing, or shyness or awkwardness when meeting people is all from within, within your mind and body.

Let me explain, when I would meet someone for the first time and I could sense that I was about to blush or that something was not completely right where do you think my focus was on? It was on ME. I was thinking about how I looked to the other people, etc.

Now stop here for a moment, if i was meeting new people what do you think those people where thinking when they were about to met me for the first time? I can bet that they were either thinking about themselves or something in there life or they were simple living calmly in the moment.

You see most people in fact about 90% of the popular are so self absorbed to busy thinking about their own life to worry about if you are blushing or not.

I know this might sound simple however as soon as I became aware of this it made a big shift towards overcoming blushing and social anxiety for ever.

Another piece of advice that helped me a lot is to remember that you are not going to magically wake up one day and say to yourself “wow, that feels amazing I am never going to blush ever again” like anything it is a process, like growing or learning a new skill. Keep working and improving everyday and before you now it you will be in a situation that would normally make your blush and you simple won’t. Then you will say “woohoo I don’t blushing any more”

The other thing that helped me stop blushing was seeking advice and knowledge from people who knew how to cure blushing. One of these experts was Dr Catherine Madigan. You can listen to an interview I did with Dr Madigan here how to stop blushing
